Acquisitions Analyst

Job Description

The acquisitions analyst will be based in San Mateo and will work directly with Acacia’s acquisitions officers on multifamily investments.  This individual’s primary responsibilities will include (i) financial underwriting, including market research, (ii) organizing and coordinating due diligence activities, (iii) interacting with lenders and (iv) coordinating closings. 

Qualifications

Ideal analyst candidates will have one to three years of experience in the real estate industry with a particular focus on acquisitions and/or financing.  This position requires a highly qualified and motivated person to be responsible for the research and financial modeling of Acacia’s investments.  Candidates must be able to work independently and take the lead in completing their portion of the due diligence of investments in a timely manner.  Candidates must also be able to effectively coordinate and manage multiple due diligence assignments, at any given time, as well as to prioritize his/her tasks and efforts.   The candidate must also possess the ability to work well within a team environment.
