Job description: The Analyst will support the Director of Finance, Director of Investor Relations and the Transactions Team of a major real estate development and investment company in financings, dispositions, investor relations and portfolio management.  Support will include preparing offering materials, analysis and reporting for investors and lenders, due diligence compilation and review, and general support of the existing portfolio as well as ongoing projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Finance

  • Assist in the collection and preparation of offering materials for financing activities supporting acquisitions, construction loans, stabilized properties etc.
  • Carefully track due diligence requests and coordinate with other departments to ensure materials are prepared, compiled and distributed quickly and efficiently.  
  • Coordinate access to properties for tours and inspections.
  • Maintain online debt platform by delivering closing binders to our vendor and reviewing key loan terms for accuracy.

Dispositions

  • Assist in the collection and preparation of offering materials for disposition activities.
  • Carefully track due diligence requests and coordinate with other departments to ensure materials are prepared, compiled and distributed quickly and efficiently. 
  • Coordinate access to properties for tours and inspections.

Investor Relations

  • Assist in the creation of quarterly investor reporting packages.
  • Support the onboarding, rollout and ongoing maintenance of new investor portal.

Portfolio Management

  • Create property financial reporting packages and closely track submission deadlines to ensure compliance with lender reporting requirements.
  • Lead annual lender inspection of property when necessary.
  • Maintain and deliver in a timely manner recurring weekly and monthly leasing reports.
  • Complete various ad hoc analyses and projects for our portfolio of properties.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our existing portfolio and the real estate markets in which we operate.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduates with 0-2 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate or related area
  • Expertise in Excel and Word
  • Experience in financial modeling and analysis
  • Strong work ethic with ability to self motivate and work with limited supervision
  • Attention to detail, patience and perseverance is a must
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written communications and presentation skills
