Bold Partners is a full-service real estate firm based in Los Angeles, CA focused on acquiring affordable and market-rate housing. Bold is seeking a full time Project Manager to manage existing and future projects.
Summary of Position:
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience managing projects from acquisition through design, construction and CO. The Project Manager will work closely with the Owner, designers and construction team. A successful candidate is expected to concurrently and successfully manage multifaceted tasks for multiple projects with firm deadlines.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and implementing all facets of the re-development process including planning, design, and construction of the projects.
- Sourcing and negotiating business deals with consultants, vendors, contractors, and others.
- Thoroughly reviewing construction and interior design plans to drive quality and cost effectiveness.
- Preparing, maintaining and monitoring project budgets and preparing monthly project development reports.
- Directing the internal project team and outside professionals in creating an effective strategy for the success of the projects and implementing that strategy according to pre-set budget and timeline.
- Preparing and monitoring project budgets, cash flow projections and project schedules and ensure projects are delivered within budget according to requirements
- Assembling and coordinating all required disciplines for each project and negotiate and manage contracts, agreements and change orders with design / engineering professionals, sub-contractors and others.
- Work with project team to resolve financial, design, scheduling and other issues that may arise.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and minimum of proven five to seven years of professional experience in new development.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously through self-motivation, high energy, flexibility and excellent organizational skills
- Strong work ethic, analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong team leadership skills, especially in the realm of organization, time management, communication and motivation
- Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
