ROLE SUMMARY:

As our team continues to grow, we are looking for a Business Operations Manager with 5 or more years of related experience to create a seamless workflow across our diverse set of operations (e.g., bookkeeping, general HR workflows, vendor management, operations strategy, process improvement, etc.).

Excellent communication skills, business operations and bookkeeping experience, and a passion for innovative technologies are needed for this role. You should be a self-driven individual able to execute operations with minimal direction.

You will work closely with our Director, as well as our product development team, beginning immediately as a full-time employee in Seattle, WA. You may manage and work closely with our Senior Office Services Coordinator as you both work to provide smooth business operations for our team.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Capital Management & Expense Tracking: Assist our Director, Managers, and Senior Office Service Coordinator with various budgeting exercises, including day-to-day expense management, invoicing, vendor management (e.g., POs, NDAs, contracts, etc.), change order management, and general CapEx and OpEx budget tracking for multiple projects. Work with our larger CBRE finance team to provide financial forecasts. Provide financial data for annual business case preparation.

Recruiting & HR Operations Strategy: Work with our Senior Office Services Coordinator and Technical Recruiting vendors to drive the logistical and strategic components of recruiting, hiring, onboarding and exiting, and retention for technical and non-technical positions. Evaluate the status and productivity of HR programs and recommend changes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Team Liaison to Broader CBRE HR Department Resources: Work with CBRE's HR department to help our team maintain the effective implementation of CBRE's HR initiatives, policies and procedures, including compliance, performance management, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, records, affirmative action planning, employee services, and employee safety & health.

Team Performance Review & Manager Operations: Along with the Senior Office Services Coordinator, drive the performance review planning, development, implementation and evaluation activities.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from a four-year college or university is required with a preferred focus in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related degree.

A minimum of 5 or more years of related experience driving Finance operations or equivalent combination of education and experience. HR experience is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to effectively present information.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Detail-oriented and obsessed with producing thorough process documentation.


PREFERRED SKILLS:

Experience with Peoplesoft, SharePoint, and Frontier Capital Management software.

Familiarity with supporting and partnering with individuals within Technology

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation.

Interest in technical recruiting
