Description
- Single point of contact for Owner-Furnished Equipment ("OFE") and Long Lead Equipment ("LLE") in multiple data center campuses in the Carolina's
- Owner Furnished Equipment vendor supplier relationship management
- Work closely with internal Commodity Management team to ensure timely issue of PO's
- Foster strong working relationship with Commodity Management team so communication is transparent and timely.
- Work with General Contractor ("GC") to identify risks & opportunities for OFE delivery, scope gaps, etc.
- Work with Data Center Engineering, commissioning teams, GC & PM to coordinate Factory Witness Testing ("FWT").
- Work with the PM's to understand equipment dependencies to meet construction sequence and work with scheduling team to vet schedule logic.
- Work with finance team to schedule team to ensure critical milestone dates are accurate and updated
- Manage specific issues relating to OFE such as:
o Quality
o Logistics
o Delays
o Cash flow
o Submittals
o Delivery schedules
o LLE Pre-Purchase Specifications and tracker updates
o Provide support in the development of process improvements
o Possible in factory Owner quality assurance and quality control
o OFE install & start up contractual changes (direct to electrical/mechanical, etc.)
o FWT and periodic progress Quality Assurance / Quality Control visits to factories
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in Construction Management or Procurement Management (with an emphasis in mechanical, electrical equipment preferred) and/or years equivalent related experience.
Prior Project Management experience is preferred.
Strong computer technical skills using complex spreadsheet software, especially Google Sheets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Background in mission critical construction is a plus.
Background in supply chain vendor management and product delivery oversight.
History of developing strong vendor relationships and managing contract negotiations and supplier relations.
PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Working knowledge in MS Project is helpful. Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices preferred.
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
