SUMMARY:
Underwrite and analyze investment opportunities for the development/value-add renovation of multifamily and mixed-use properties; provide asset management support to development and property management teams for existing investments.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Underwrite and analyze investment opportunities for the development/value-add renovation of multifamily and mixed-use properties; provide asset management support to development and property management teams for existing investments.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Key functions may include but are not limited to:
- Underwrite and analyze prospective real estate investment deals.
- Perform market research to identify investment opportunities.
- Prepare investment memorandums on new deals.
- Prepare LOIs to purchase properties. Perform due diligence, coordinate third party reports, negotiate loan documents, and administrate closings of properties under contract.
- Coordinate with development team to refine business plan and development/renovation scope of potential investments.
- Meet with investors and lenders to market investment opportunities and raise capital.
- Monitor and strategically analyze current portfolio of investments, including capital enhancement opportunities, financing/refinancing, and hold vs. sell analyses, to ensure successful business plan execution.
- Provide quantitative/analytics support to development and property management teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong math and computer skills. Capable of advanced Excel modeling.
- Strong communication skills.
- Detail oriented. Self-starter. Team Player.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS with a career interest in real estate and finance. Degree in economics, finance, business, or real estate preferred. Must have undergraduate coursework in economics, corporate finance and accounting.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
