JOB DESCRIPTION:

CBRE Global Investors - Americas is seeking an Analyst to provide analytical and transactional support for multifamily investments. Responsibilities include tracking the investment pipeline, underwriting, and supporting the due diligence and closing of investment opportunities. This position would involve 1) maintaining the investment pipeline, 2) utilizing Excel to create financial models and other analysis to evaluate acquisition opportunities, 3) due diligence consisting of reviewing existing property information, operating statements and third-party reports, 4) developing presentation materials for investment committee approval, 5) processing transactions through close, 6) assisting with the procurement of financing and 7) conducting annual valuations.

 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Support the Multifamily Team in the identification/analysis of investment opportunities

*Maintain and update a regional investment pipeline

*Complete various financial analyses including DCF/IRR valuation, sale and lease comparable review, sensitivity analysis, and other ad hoc analyses

*Source and analyze market research including supply/demand analysis and market rent forecasts

*Participate in due diligence and closing efforts, including: review of operating statements, rent rolls, third-party reports and closing statements

*Assist in the preparation of Investment Committee materials

*Assist in the preparation of disposition and financing analysis

*Perform other projects and responsibilities as needed by the Americas team


QUALIFICATIONS:

*Bachelor's Degree (industry certificates, designations and licenses a plus)

*1-2 years of experience in financial modeling and real estate valuations preferred

*High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and Salesforce

*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

*Initiative, leadership, team-building skills and ability to meet deadlines

*Organized with ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, team environment
