Property and Portfolio Strategy
Drive the Providence investment strategy, value creation and outperformance through direct strategic and tactical oversight of property operations, leasing and capital deployment
Develop, communicate, and effectuate the Providence annual business plans through actively coordinating property management, leasing, accounting, legal, appraisal, tax, research personnel as well as third-party consultants
Evaluate and oversee capital improvements and value add strategies, with specific knowledge in the execution of interior unit renovation plans
Measure and monitor asset performance against a variety of benchmarks including; Providence objectives, pro-forma metrics, budget and market comparables
Understand current market trends related to the demographics, job growth, economic drivers and product supply that affect a portfolio and act on them
Perform regular market visits and property inspections for assigned assets; frequent, independent travel required
Collaborate with acquisition and disposition teams throughout the life of an asset to communicate and achieve Providence investment objectives
Manage regular fund communications, including quarterly informational newsletters and periodic investor conference calls
Facilitate and manage the flow of information between property management, acquisitions and corporate management
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
Asset and Portfolio Monitoring and Optimization

Business Plan Execution
Develop, communicate, and effectuate the Providence annual business plans through actively coordinating property management, leasing, accounting, legal, appraisal, tax, research personnel as well as third-party consultants
Capital Improvement Oversight
Evaluate and oversee capital improvements and value add strategies, with specific knowledge in the execution of interior unit renovation plans
Asset Performance Monitoring

Market Analysis

Internal Communications
Facilitate and manage the flow of information between property management, acquisitions and corporate management
Skills/Competencies
- Candidate should be a self-starter with proven communication skills and an ability to work within a team environment
- Strategic thinking with an ability to execute tactically
- Team player who demonstrates the ability to collaborate with employees throughout all levels of the organization
- Experience in working with Revenue Optimization Systems (Yieldstar or LRO) is a plus
Qualifications/Experience
Position is based in Chicago's North Shore (Glenview) Minimum of:- 3 years' experience in the real estate industry
- Preference is for experience in asset management
- Preference is for experience in the multifamily industry
- A Bachelor's degree is required
