As a member of the Corporate Finance team at CHC, you will be at the center of our company’s corporate building effort which will include all financing and capital market transactions as well as our ongoing endeavor to create the optimal corporate capital structure. We are seeking a team member that is highly experienced in financial modeling with an understanding of financial statements, preferably within financial services companies. These skills will be necessary as you will be expected to participate in the execution of advisory and capital raising transactions and in the pursuit of business extensions and development of new business opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Drive execution of financial improvement and optimization initiatives pertaining to equity financing, debt financing, securitizations, recapitalizations and M&A transactions
· Management of comprehensive CHC financial model including usage associated with corporate financing as well as capital market activity
· Assist in the preparation and integration of departmental and corporate budgets (1yr & 5yr)
· Support due diligence/operational growth initiatives by developing financial models and performing credit and capital structure analysis (new business initiatives)
· Assist with investment process and execution including engaging 3rd party advisors for potential new business transactions
· Compile and assess market, company and competitor research to prepare investment strategy
· Develop and build relationships with investment bankers, management teams and other contacts on strategic financing activities
· Assist in developing corporate KPIs and related reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills
· A minimum 2-4 years of experience in investment banking or post MBA with relevant background, preferably focused on specialty finance or financial technology, are requirements for this role
· Proven M&A transaction experience would also be preferred
· Strong modeling, research and analytical skills
· Resourceful and creative in conducting financial analytics
· Presentation skills able to deliver compelling and concise presentations
· Commercial mindset and ability to perform under
pressure and tight deadlines
· An inquiring mindset and the drive to constantly learn and improve
· Extraordinarily high level of motivation and commitment
to working hard
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CA and/or CFA
designation would be an asset
