Description
The Financial Analyst will join the Capital Markets team to assist in financing the acquisition and development of the firm’s new and existing projects, including condominium towers, master-planned communities, homebuilding & hotels.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Deal Team Support
• Assist Capital Markets team with work related to the procurement and closing of acquisitions, new loans and refinancings
• Gather and provide information to assist with appraisals, plan & cost reviews, and other lender and investor requests
• Create, edit, and maintain pitch books, RFPs, and presentations for debt (and equity) offerings as required
Financial Modeling
• Update Financial Models & Budgets for active projects concurrent with bi-annual update cycle
• Create models for new project financing
• Create ad-hoc analyses as required
Reporting
Assist in Relationship Management
• Participate in preparation of reporting for each banking relationship with recommendations for strategy
Coordinate with Accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of loan reports
• Weekly Loan Report
• Loan Efficiency Report
• Loan Limitation Analysis
Other
• Organizational efforts – help maintain and organize storage of legal documents
• Communication – Assist in process of inter-divisional communication
• Letters of Credit & Surety Bonds – Supervise & Assist Loan Admin team
• Such other responsibilities as may be prescribed
QUALIFICATIONS
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Preference for experience with or knowledge of data management & visualization
• High aptitude for quantitative and financial analysis
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong personal attributes: ethical, self-motivated, multi-tasker, great communicator, organized and detail-oriented, team player, creative, professional appearance and manner
EDUCATION
• Minimum BA (degree in finance preferred). Strong academics and test scores required.
