Hiring Period Increases

If you want a job before the New Year, apply now, or as "Forbes" put it, " Why it's Stupid to Stop Your a Job Search for the Summer." Our premier employers currently have nearly 1,000 professional real estate jobs on the SelectLeaders Real Estate Job Network. Don't hesitate to apply because you want to enjoy the summer. Employers also take summer vacations which traditionally lengthens the hiring process. But the real issue in 2016 is in the War for Talent employers have chosen disarmament. At this point in the hiring cycle the bait should be bigger. After a 5-year hiring hiatus, when we lost talent to other industries, financing returned and hiring exploded in 2014 through 2015. By 2016, we would expect to see the incentives and equity participation offers we saw in 2007 and early 2008 when talent also became scarcer. Instead, employers are more cautious and lengthened the hiring process to find that perfect match. So apply now, and remember, they don't call it Labor Day for nothing.
