Hiring Gets Harder

If you are an employer the best year for real estate hiring was 2014. The real estate job market took longer to recover from the Global Financial Crisis than many industries but in 2014 financing and job opportunities finally broke loose, and it took only 13 views of a job before one of our real estate professionals clicked to apply. The worst year? 2006 required 45 views before an applicant clicked to apply for a job. The Sellerís Market continued into 2007 with 40 views before a finger clicked, and we started seeing offers of equity plus bonus, ending abruptly in 2008. Hiring is not that tough but getting harder in 2017 with 28 views of a job before an applicant clicks to apply. Pent up CRE hiring between 2014 and 2016 adds to the reluctance of some to make a move quite yet. Others basking in the Sellerís Market not seen in years, require a bit more bait than previously. But the jobs on our site are extremely tempting.
