Summary:

 

ACORE Capital is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join its Capital Markets team. The role will be focused on the quantitative and analytical aspects of operating ACORE’s co-mingled debt funds which includes liquidity tracking and management, investment selection, investment financing and working in sophisticated models. The Analyst or Associate will play a key role at the company as the Capital Markets team works directly with Originations, Underwriting, Capital Raising and external financing sources.  The individual will have an opportunity to work on a broad variety of large, opportunistic, institutional real estate loans encompassing multiple property types across the U.S. This role is headquartered from our San Francisco office reporting to the Director and is expected to be on-site four days a week with Friday’s remote.

Responsibilities:

• Manage co-mingled debt fund liquidity models and cash needs on a day-to-day basis (capital calls, subscription line draws, paydowns, repurchase facility advances).
• Assist with the execution of financing the co-mingled debt funds investments, trade confirmations, data room coordination and communication with financing counterparties.
• Review and revise asset summary reports, loan models and other Capital Markets related information for external marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Capital Raising and Asset Management to provide monthly/quarterly deliverables to financing providers and investors.
• Assist the Capital Markets team with other model and analysis requests from senior management of the firm.
• Undertake additional marketing efforts and modeling projects as required or assigned.
• Assist with CRM implementation.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Business or Accounting
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in credit or private equity funds, financial services, a finance-related function or accounting.
• Proficient in advanced Excel formulas and financial modeling. Must be able to create complex, properly formatted, multi-tab models using advanced Excel formulas. Discounted cash flow models, carried interest calculations, etc. VBA or other coding experience a plus.
• Self-starter, team-oriented, detail-oriented, and proven ability to perform in high-expectation environment.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills.
