We are hiring for a dynamic Marketing Manager. This position is full-time, in office.   


What you’ll do:
 The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing critical marketing collateral and elements for interview materials (client pitches) and proposal submissions. This individual works independently and collaboratively with the marketing team and across the organization on a national level. They must be a highly innovative and motivated individual who is solutions focused—with the ability to prioritize deliverables with hard due dates. The position reports to the Alexandria office, but also provides support to the offices in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Houston, and Salt Lake City.


Essential Functions:

  • Participate in strategic presentation preparation.
  • Continually monitor, develop, and improve the pursuit process to find efficiencies and best practices. Track results with feedback to improve materials going forward.
  • Develop recommendations for presentations (e.g., content, process, approach) and follow-up actions to help continually improve rand*’s win rate. This responsibility includes working directly with operations team members, business development leads, and executive leadership.
  • Research new ideas, methods, and technologies to present our materials, staying ahead of the curve against our competition.
  • Design and develop materials for interviews, presentations, proposals, project meetings, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in post-proposal and interview submission debriefs to learn reasons for winning and losing and help establish best practices.
  • Assist in developing graphic representations in project-specific logistics and approach methods.
  • Communicate lessons learned with all parties involved.
  • Develop project-specific one-pagers for marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in developing award package submissions for industry awards.

Qualified Candidates will possess the following:

  • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle last-minute assignments based on client deliverable due dates.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • High innovativeness and motivation.
  • Excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and attention to detail.
  • Strong proofreading/editing skills.
  • Ability to convey thoughts, ideas, and technical information in a clearly understood and concise manner.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • An understanding of printing preproduction processes, materials, and packaging.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Marketing team, Preconstruction, Project Management, and Executive Management.
  • Strong communications skills; both written and oral.

Preferred Candidates will also possess the following:

  • A Master’s Degree in Architecture or degree in Construction Management from an accredited college or university is preferred.  2 – 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Graphic Design and 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in the A/E/C industry.
