GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Investor Relations Associate plays a critical role in maintaining communication between Invesco Real Estate and its investors. This individual is responsible for supporting the Investor Relations Manager of Invesco Real Estate’s institutional fund clients to ensure all inquiries and requests for information are managed through exceptional client service.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Assist with client inquiry responses and data requests, ensuring timely, accurate and consistent communication and dissemination.
- Ensure responses are recorded in investor database for future reference.
- Manage investor onboarding and redemption process.
- Maintain, track, and review side letters and ensure adherence.
- Manage and oversee consultant reporting.
- Identify areas for efficiency, improvement, and automation and implement solution.
- Manage day-to-day workflow/activities and review of Hyderabad counterpart; help identify additional opportunities for work transfer, efficiencies, and training.
- Assist Product & Portfolio Management with RFPs, DDQs and other projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of ongoing PPM updates and other fund materials.
- Manage and coordinate investor transfers.
- Manage quarterly attestations.
- Other ad hoc projects/initiatives.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING:
- College degree – Accounting, Finance or Business-Related Preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years in real estate investment or private equity environment
- Prior experience in investor relations, finance, accounting or related roles
- Commercial real estate equity and debt experience a plus
- Familiarity with open-end and closed-end funds a plus
SKILLS:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to address investor inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM products and ability to learn/implement new technology
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple funds
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ownership mindset (ownership of work product and tasks)
