Ritz Banc Group (RBG) is seeking an Analyst/Associate in our Washington, DC office. The position will be an integral member of the Acquisitions team and will report to the Vice President of Acquisitions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a combination of applicable work experience and a deep understanding of real estate. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The candidate will support all aspects of the Acquisitions team, including but not limited to tracking market trends and metrics, maintaining a deal pipeline database, building financial models and underwriting new acquisition opportunities, performing in-depth market research and asset specific due diligence, supporting the due diligence process, interfacing with local brokers and owners, preparing presentations, reports, and investment memos, and implementing asset-level business plans after closing.  The role will focus on investment opportunities in a variety of asset classes (i.e., multifamily, office, etc.) in multiple markets along the East Coast of the United States. Occasional travel within the target investment markets will be required. 

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of real estate experience
• Familiarity with multiple asset classes (i.e., office, multifamily, etc.) is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Expert proficiency in Argus DCF/Enterprise and Microsoft Excel preferred
• Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organization skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and an ability to build and leverage connections within the industry
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
