Controller

Overview:

Galium Capital is a real estate investment, development, and management firm based in Miami, FL, with over $350M in real estate assets under management.

Galium has an integrated in-house team including acquisitions, asset management, investor relations, accounting and finance.

Galium is looking for a Controller. The position will be instrumental and strategic to support the fast-growing pace of the company. The Controller will provide both financial leadership and operational support, reporting directly to the Managing Partner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create financial reports and analyses
• Analyze financial statements of portfolio companies
• Create and keep track of budgets
• Keep track of investor schedules for multiple portfolios
• Supervise investor reports and distributions
• Work with external CPA for tax return coordination
• Manage relationships with banks and lenders

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related required. Masters degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in accounting or finance related roles
• Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
• Experience analyzing financial statements
• Ideal profile: Smart, quantitative, analytic, well organized, can handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, can work independently
