Position Title: Director/VP of Asset Management
Job Description:
As a part of the Asset Management team at a global real estate equity firm, you will be in charge of your portfolio consisting of office, industrial, commercial, residential, retail, hotel, and mixed-use assets. By being a hands-on asset manager, you will be accountable for creating short and long-term goals in aspects to property management, leasing, financings, joint venture agreements, and dispositions of each asset through the utilization of strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:

Create strategy for all aspect of an asset including refinancing and disposition

Manage your short and long-term business plans of assets in cooperation with development, constructions, property management, and leasing teams

Have weekly meetings with the CEO and Head of Asset Management to discuss recommend creative strategy with assets

Utilize constant communication with other departments to ensure they are effectively managing assets including in-house and 3rd party brokers
- Assist management of analyst team
- Conduct ad-hoc tasks that relate to the asset such as lender requests, lease renewals and partner reporting
- Formulate long-term analyses using Argus to project future cash flows
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years in real estate, finance, or related fields
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook required
- Experience with Argus and MRI real estate software
- Ability to perform the essential job functions which may require sitting for extended periods of time
- Strong collaboration skills with other departments to meet deadlines goals on a daily to yearly basis
- Ability to multi-task projects in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
