Property/Field Manager

Job Description

Hiring a Commercial/ Retail Property Manager to oversee a 30 plus commercial properties, mainly in the Bronx.

Work as a hands on PM, managing and overseeing lease up, repairs and operations. This is a chance to work with a stable company, even during COVID, with a competitive compensation and growth potential.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine on-site property inspections, identifying any problems and coordinating with vendors and office support team.
• Overseeing building improvements and repairs, evaluating service contracts, preparing bids and negotiating with vendors and any on-site support staff.
• Overseeing tenant repairs and ensuring that all work is done to code and signed off correctly to ensure that the buildings remain violation free.
• Maintaining good working relationships with commercial tenants.
• Performing lease administration duties, verifying lease data and staying updated on leasing activity.
• Showing vacant commercial space to potential tenants.
• Available on evenings and weekends for emergencies only.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in commercial/retail property management.
• Computer literate-able to learn property management/communication programs and apps.
• Experience with leasing, tenant relations and building maintenance.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present good customer service when dealing with tenants and owner reps.
• Ability to oversee an on-site team of employees if needed.
• Ability to read and understand architectural, plumbing and electrical plans.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 per year
