Job Title:              Full Time Analyst

Location:              New York City (Team is currently remote but plans to be back in office this summer / fall)

Firm Overview:  Cross Lake Partners is an independent, privately held real estate investment firm with approximately $1 billion in assets under management.  Cross Lake Partners pursues a value driven, disciplined approach to investing in the growth markets of the U.S.  The Firm was established in July 2018 by Michael Barr and Jonathan Shumaker to continue the real estate platform formerly managed at Paulson & Co.  Prior to the formation of Cross Lake, the managing partners have together led real estate transactions with an aggregate asset value in excess of $20 billion.  Cross Lake invests in a wide array of single asset, portfolio level and operating companies, across all real estate asset classes.

Description:         Analyst will gain exposure to all aspects of the investment process and will work directly with the acquisitions team.  Primary responsibilities will be to:

• Assist in screening potential investment opportunities
• Prepare deal overview materials for internal discussion
• Underwrite potential acquisitions
• Assist in managing existing investments
• Create materials for investor meetings

Requirements:     The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in Investment Banking or Private Equity
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Real Estate experience / interest
• Well-suited to work within an entrepreneurial culture
