POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Sales & Leasing Representative is directly responsible for maximizing the value and operational performance of an assigned portfolio of commercial properties (including grocery-anchored shopping centers, community centers, redevelopment & new development sites, and stand-alone buildings). The daily responsibilities include the full spectrum of leasing-related, asset management, and operational activities within the assigned portfolio. This is a full-time salaried position with performance-based bonus opportunities.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Directly responsible for the full scope of leasing-related activities for the assigned portfolio (including sourcing and negotiating new leases and renewals)
    • includes daily focus on cold-calling and canvassing  
    • developing, understanding and cataloging comprehensive market data in surrounding trade areas
    • creating a network of brokers and other key industry professionals within assigned markets
  • Responsible for developing and administering annual operating and capital expense budgets
  • Direct oversight of all asset management-related activities throughout the assigned portfolio
  • Coordination and project management of capital and tenant-improvement projects
  • Assists in the sourcing and evaluation of acquisition opportunities nationally
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of two (2) years sales experience preferred
  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • Effective interpersonal skills with strong negotiating and presentation abilities
  • High degree of initiative and independent judgment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be detailed-oriented and have strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills including experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Open to some overnight travel
