We are currently looking for a skilled Vice President, Fund Management & Reporting to work in collaboration with our internal and external partners.

 

Position Overview:  Vice President, Fund Management & Reporting

The Vice President, Fund Management & Reporting will report to the President and CFO and will work closely with both internal and external partners to build the AREP brand.

The Vice President, Fund Management & Reporting will be able to oversee the fund management process needed to effectively provide fund reporting to our investors.   This individual will have the ability to be accurate and analytical. 

 

Overall Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Responsible for the financial planning, analysis, reporting, and administration of funds.
  • Manage the quarterly preparation and dissemination of investor reports and additional investor-requested supporting documentation.
  • Serve as primary back-office communication point person between AREP and outside investors. This includes fielding inquiries, organizing responses between departments, completing questionnaires, drawdowns, etc.
  • Complete and deliver recurring and ad-hoc supplemental requests for operational and financial information by investors, the principals, and other interested internal and external parties.
  • Prepare and participate in capital calls and presentations.
  • Coordinate with tax and accounting professionals on investor information and other related matters.
  • Assist with fundraising and marketing efforts.
  • Complete special projects and other investor related responsibilities as assigned. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications Summary


    • BA or BS required with preferred degrees in real estate, finance, accounting, economics or related area.
    • 5+ years of related commercial real estate industry.  A proven record of experience in handling fund management and reporting duties is a must.  Previous experience working for a owner and/or private equity fund preferred.
    • Strong technical skills in the Microsoft Office suite in particular PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills.  Able to make minimal graphic modifications in PowerPoint.  Proficient in Argus.
    • Experience in financial modeling is desirable.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and analytical skills necessary to communicate with brokers and investors.
    • Strong time management skills, attention to detail and commitment to follow through.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment as a hands-on contributor.
