EastBanc is interested in hiring an asset management financial analyst who will work with the asset management team to manage $2B+ in commercial office assets in DC, NYC, and Toronto that EastBanc manages alongside our multinational German financial partner. The analyst will be working closely with both the EastBanc team and the German partnership to provide data-driven quantitative analysis to assist with decision-making. A sample of initial job responsibilities include:
- Maintain and improve existing assets with the asset management and leasing team:
- Review and develop budgets and ARGUS models of existing assets with the property management team
- Evaluate proposed value add improvements of existing assets to determine the return on investment with the asset management team
- Evaluate potential leases with the leasing team to determine their financial impact
- Assist with communications and reporting to financial partners (debt and equity)
- Work with proprietary tracking and reporting systems, processes, and procedures to keep our partners updated on the status of the asset and any decision making and approval mechanisms required by the partnership
- Assist with the underwriting and acquisition of new assets into the portfolio
EastBanc is looking for a candidate with two to five years of relevant work experience who desires to pursue a long-term career in real estate and has strong quantitative analysis skills. Most of the initial work output will primarily be done with excel models (and some in Argus) paired with internal memos summarizing the analysis and keeping track of various custom reporting processes and procedures. Prior relevant work experience will help the candidate hit the ground running to expand their role and responsibilities quickly. Based on a large amount of interaction with our German partners, the candidate must communicate in fluent German.
