Description 

We are looking for two Associates to join our Debt Placement / Financing Team in our San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities include start to finish transaction execution, collaboration with lenders and clients, and oversight of the financial underwriting
• Working closely with senior team members and mentoring and training Analysts
• Financial underwriting, due diligence review and transaction execution
• Performing comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis
• Preparing presentations and other materials for clients
• Creating pitches, proposals, and marketing materials
• Recognize and build relationships with clients and lenders that ultimately lead to new business

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial real estate experience, brokerage experience, or a combination of both
• A BS/BA degree or higher
• Strong communication, analytical, and writing skills
• Strong ARGUS, financial analysis and excel modeling skills
• Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high quality work under tight time frames

Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills. It is strongly preferred that your background includes:

• Eastdil Secured requires each non-administrative exempt staff member (Analyst and above) to be licensed as appropriate real estate salesperson in California
• Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry with a focus on real estate finance
• Experience in commercial real estate with a focus on capital markets
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
• Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused, collaborative, and team environment
