Investment Analyst

Job Description

Golden East Investors, a New York City based real estate investment management firm with over 10 million square feet in assets under management, is seeking an Investment Analyst for immediate hire.

The Investment Analyst will be a generalist and will play a significant role in underwriting, conducting due diligence, negotiating, executing, asset managing and exiting investments that span the office, industrial, retail and hospitality asset classes that are scattered throughout the country.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the merits and risks of investment opportunities
• Create and maintain advanced financial models to support the evaluation of investment opportunities and decision making
• Participate asset management
• Gather and analyze market data
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and annual budgets

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of work experience at top-tier private equity, venture capital, investment banking and/or management consulting firms
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel)
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Argus valuation software is a requirement  
• Ability to problem solve independently
• Comfortable working in a small team setting
