Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The GIS Analyst/developer will be supporting the accounts' GIS application needs, such as:
• Deliver mapping solutions by defining the user requirements, overseeing the workflow and collaborating with various business and project teams
• developing and maintaining GIS applications that leverage GIS data,
• maintaining the quality of all GIS data,
• developing and maintaining integrations to all GIS related software applications,
• creating and support GIS data collection applications,
• analyzing problems and making appropriate recommendations as it pertains to GIS, publishing GIS resources and many other related GIS tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops advanced location intelligence deliverables, both traditional and web-based, using a combination of geo-spatial, analytic, and graphic design skills.
Acts as project manager for larger GIS requests/deliverables. Works with client to manage and identify solutions while also managing their expectations.
Responsible for driving high-quality controls, and leverages quality assurance checklists to ensure project standards are adhered to.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
• 3+ years experience with all ESRI products including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro and related Add-ins as well as SQL database, and will utilize their skills in these areas to successfully develop robust solutions.
• Real Estate experience preferred
• BS/BA in geography, GIS, urban planning, economics, or relevant experience
• Expertise with GIS, data analytics tools, and data visualization applications such as Tableau, Alteryx, and a programming language.
• Demonstrated success leading project delivery for large, cross functional programs
• Verbal and written communication skills are critical. Must be able to organize and present thoughts clearly and concisely
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) or related certifications preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages. Firm understanding of statistics and can conduct basic financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Mastery in ArcGIS Suite, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications required. Knowledge of GIS terms and definitions required.
Knowledge of CRE preferred and the ability to work with complex mathematical concepts and apply operations such as linear and regression formula and other standardized industry modeling concepts is preferred.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
Bonus Eligible:
*Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the GIS Analyst position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the GIS Analyst position is $150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
