Summary:

Kennedy Wilson’s Commercial Investment Group is seeking an Analyst who is confident, articulate, and a self-starter with 1-2 years of commercial investment analytical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing customized financial models that include complex financial and waterfall analysis.
  • Assist in the underwriting and evaluation of real estate acquisitions and developments for the Commercial Investment & Fund Management Group.
  • Assist the asset management team in preparing valuations and cash flow projections.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate economic and demographic trends and real estate market fundamentals.
  • Collect and analyze due diligence findings for new acquisitions.
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts with third parties and consultants.
  • Review and analyze due diligence results and compare results to transaction underwriting.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of investment memos to group management and investment committee.
  • Assist in the closing phase of transactions.
  • Conduct occasional property tours and travel, as needed.
Qualifications:
  • College degree is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in real estate or investment banking.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Argus.
  • Excellent numerical analytical ability with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage of external and internal relationships; interact with members of senior management, executives, and staff in a positive manner.
  • Commitment to and awareness of the team and changing workloads.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and taking personal ownership to achieve team goals.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
