Position Description

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Analyst to join our team in Tampa, FL. The Senior Analyst will prepare property-level analyses for acquisition opportunities and assist in quarterly asset management analyses for existing investments. This position will play a key role in sourcing and underwriting new acquisitions from initial tours to closing. We are looking for a candidate that wants to quickly advance into a more senior management position involving acquisitions and/or finance.

The Senior Analyst will report to the Deputy CEO and Vice President for Asset Management.

  • Underwrite potential acquisitions, including detailed Excel and ARGUS modeling
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis, including IRR/DCF models, waterfalls and sensitivities
  • Produce quarterly dividend sustainability analyses for each property as needed
  • Interact with third party brokers, consultants, lenders, and partners
  • Research and integrate submarket data into financial assumptions
  • Assist in the preparation of offering memoranda

Requirements

  • 2-5 years’ experience in commercial real estate, preferably in office and/or retail investment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of acquisition underwriting
  • Financial modeling skills for acquisitions, including waterfalls – ground-up development modeling experience a plus
  • ARGUS proficiency
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a small team environment
  • Eagerness to take the initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Familiarity with Central Florida and/or South Florida office markets a plus
