Four Peaks Capital – Real Estate Private Equity Analyst
Four Peaks Capital (“Four Peaks”) is a rapidly growing real estate private equity firm seeking a full-time analyst to join its investments team. The analyst will be focused on acquisitions and asset management, responsible for market research, financial modeling and analysis, property due diligence, ongoing monitoring of property performance, and investor reporting.
Founded in 2019 and based in Los Angeles, California, Four Peaks focuses on acquiring and operating value-add multifamily real estate in high-growth western U.S. markets. Over the past 24 months, Four Peaks has completed over $400mm of acquisitions and is currently investing its first fund, Four Peaks Fund 1, LP. Four Peaks is looking for a dedicated, highly motivated analyst to join its rapidly growing and dynamic team.
Essential Functions:
- Perform financial analysis of new acquisition opportunities, refinances, dispositions, and valuations.
- Collaborate with various partners including brokers, lenders, property managers, and other third parties.
- Review and analyze financial reports, operating statements, legal documents as part of the acquisition and asset management process.
- Prepare capital and operating budgets, investor reports, internal investment committee memoranda, as well as other presentation materials.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive monthly and quarterly reporting packages to assist in monitoring asset performance in all critical areas: revenues, expenses, leasing, occupancy, etc.
- Conduct research of new and existing markets.
- Travel as needed for new acquisitions and asset management.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field of study.
- 1-3 years of prior real estate, finance, or investment experience.
- Advanced/expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Team player with the ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and multi-task.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Timing:
- Candidates must be able to start by April 2022 to be considered.
