Minimum qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions (e.g., leasing, purchasing, build-to-suit and development, planning, and finance/financial modeling).
- Experience preparing and managing real estate analytical requirements for investment, acquisition, leasing, disposition, and budgeting in the commercial real estate industry.
- Experience in creating real estate business process analytical strategies, including forecasting and reconciliations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to set clear objectives for the various delivery teams.
- Excellent leadership skills.
About the job
As a Senior Portfolio Analyst, you will report to the Director of Asset Management and be in charge of analysis of all significant global portfolio real estate transactions, including real estate strategies, opportunities, and transactions whether build, purchase or lease.
In this role, you will be in charge of analytical work required to support a team of subject matter experts from Legal, Finance, Tax and the Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) and/or other functional areas to deliver projects. You will ensure that transactions are performed according to the agreed real estate financial metrics and related agreements, and meet the sustainable needs of the business.

Responsibilities
- Develop real estate analytics strategy, addressing returns, workplace metrics, advantages, risk, resilience and cost of projects and transactions (leasing, purchasing, build-2-suit and development, planning, finance and financial modeling, corporate strategy).
- Lead analytics tied to estate transactions and opportunities for Google's real estate portfolio that serve overall corporate strategy and work financially within budget, utilize networks to the benefit of Google and REWS service lines, and support management of complex, matrixed relationships.
- Plan and work on budget preparation support with Asset Management team and outside vendors, and review Google’s proposed leases, purchases, and development transactions.
- Create and maintain analytical tools for the Investment Management group.
