We seek an experienced and talented Commercial RE Underwriter/Credit Analyst to help us with the continued growth and expansion of our lending business. Our borrowers acquire, renovate and develop residential and commercial projects from $250k up to $20M. Our residential lending focus is on 1-4 unit, while our commercial lending is focused on small balance loans (<$20MM) for 5-20+ multifamily, small lot subdivisions, and mixed-use properties. Job Summary

Positions are open in our Los Angeles and Phoenix locations.

The Commercial Underwriter/Credit Analyst will be responsible for the due diligence, underwriting and presentation of commercial loan packages within the Arixa platform. The successful candidate will be looking to grow with the company as the company grows. This position will provide the candidate with opportunity to develop a deep understanding of responsible private lending through loan structure, credit analysis and fund management. The candidate must understand and articulate the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures associated with real estate and private lending. The Commercial Underwriter/Credit Analyst will be involved in meeting borrowers’ needs while delivering white glove service daily. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform and review all due diligence required to evaluate the borrower and asset.
• Evaluate loan structure and credit to ensure compliance with lending & underwriting standards.
• Identify risks and mitigants of loan packages.
• Write detailed analysis of loan package.
• Research sales and rental comparables for analysis of the asset.
• Review construction budgets.
• Be an active participant in Company production meetings and discussions.
• Be a trusted business partner to the other departments including origination and closing.
• Work closely with internal partners to assist in moving loans through to funding.
• Work within Salesforce to ensure data integrity.
• Provide white glove customer service to our borrowers and fellow team members
• Perform other duties as assigned
