We have an exciting opportunity for an Investment Analyst in our Boston office.. The successful candidate will be a highly resourceful team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities. He/she will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong communication, organizational, and financial skills.

Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

• Producing weekly allocation pipelines and distributing them to senior officers of the investment team and senior management
• Preparing cash flow models using Argus and Excel while adhering to the underwriting standards of Cabot and separate account clients
• Partnering with investment officers to put together well-rounded summaries of investment opportunities, which will then be submitted to Cabot’s Investment Committees
• Reading, creating, and entering detailed lease abstracts into Cabot’s accounting system
• Researching and underwriting tenants (public and private companies) and collaborating with the asset management team to incorporate final assumptions into financial models (Argus and Excel)
• Assisting in reviewing investment due diligence materials to ensure items of concern are captured in financial models (Argus and Excel)
• Review, reconcile and approve closing statements for investments
• Researching and summarizing both macroeconomic information and specific market/submarket information that will impact Cabot’s investments
• Assisting in preparation of quarterly and annual investor reporting materials

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic background
• Proficient with Microsoft Office required
• Financial skills and familiarity with finance, investment and capital market concepts as well as Argus experience is desirable
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Team player with a pro-active approach who possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all members of the organization with good attention to detail.
• High level of professionalism and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality as required and appropriate

Physical/Mental/Visual Demands and Work Environment:

• The job is conducted in an office work environment, sitting most of the time and using a computer approximately 90% for this position’s duties
• International travel related to training, investor meetings and conferences per Covid-19 restrictions
• Full Covid-19 vaccination and all applicable up-to-date vaccines doses and/or boosters are a prerequisite for employment.
