RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directs the day-to-day activities of the of the Data Processing team including, but not limited to: performance data (historical and forward looking) maintenance, loading, processing, and assist with output/delivery.
  • Lead and advise direct reports on appropriate methods related to data management processes.
  • Accomplishes the department objectives by recruiting, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching team members; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and measuring department key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provides effective leadership, coaching and mentoring of the team, fostering a team environment of shared ownership and respect. Being able to drive decisions effectively within the team is essential.
  • Other duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis by management
  • Manages (direct or indirect) up to 4 FTEs.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-4 years prior team management experience with track record of leading through others.
  • Demonstrated experience and responsibility with data, process, and project management.
  • Prior experience working closely with IT development teams to drive and delivery key applications and process capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications (e.g. Word, Excel)
  • Experienced understanding of databases (e.g. SQL) and data analysis tools (e.g. SAP Web Intelligence, Power BI, Tableau).


PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Data Skills: Creative, innovative, and analytical. Strong confidence in using and manipulating quantitative, performance data.
  • Problem Solving: Capable of identifying creative solutions to assist in project delivery, generate new business or improve efficiencies.
  • Project Management: Capability to organize, assign and execute tasks within tight timescales.
  • Communication: Confident speaker with excellent communication skills to deliver pitches, presentations, communicate with clients or internally. Excellent written skills able to express key points succinctly and clearly.
  • People skills: Collaborative and good communication skills. Ability to listen carefully and relay instructions accurately.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure, manage several tasks simultaneously and respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Deliver Results: Work effectively and efficiently, paying careful attention to detail, data confidentiality, quality, and accuracy.
  • Attention to Detail: An eye for detail in terms of data checking is essential. The candidate must be confident working with data and taking responsibility for the accuracy and quality of the data they are dealing with.
