Real Estate Private Equity Associate / Senior Associate

GMF Group, a private investment firm that specializes in manufactured housing communities and RV park investments, is looking to hire a real estate private equity associate at its headquarters in Palm Beach, Florida. The associate will work directly with the firm’s senior leaders on acquisitions of new properties and asset management of the current portfolio. The position will provide exposure to the full real estate investment life cycle, including property acquisitions, financings, asset management, and dispositions.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing acquisition opportunities by calling and emailing brokers as well as potential sellers
• Evaluating and analyzing potential acquisitions
• Touring potential opportunities and conducting due diligence
• Building and updating financial models
• Performing rent and sale comparable analyses and market studies
• Assisting in drafting investment committee and financing materials as well as business plans
• Assisting in coordinating acquisition third-party due diligence and closing processes (financing, legal, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with coursework in finance, real estate, economics, or accounting preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in real estate brokerage, acquisitions, or financing is preferred (manufactured housing or multifamily experience is preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated go-getter with ability to formulate and execute ideas / business plans as well as spearhead multiple processes at once
• Based in or willing to move to Palm Beach, Florida

Compensation

• Flexible and dependent on deal experience
• Based on experience, opportunity to join as a senior associate or to be promoted to vice president shortly after joining
