Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:  Headquartered in Delray Beach, Florida, The Kolter Group (www.kolter.com) is diversified real estate development and investment firm that has invested in projects with expected value in excess of $19 billion. The primary role of Investor Relations Manager is to manage communication & financial information flow between Kolter and (i) external equity investors and (ii) bank lenders & financial institutions.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Investor Communications & Equity Financial Reporting

  • Day-to-day management of communication with external capital partners, serving as first point of contact and representative of the firm to investors & financial institutions
  • Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, project updates/newsletters, budgets, performance memos, business plans and other financial information
  • Maintain reporting requirement schedules (for tracking information flow and deliverables to investors) and prepare communications in coordination with VP of Accounting & Controller
  • Annual tax reporting – work the Tax Specialist to facilitate information needed for tax returns and distribution of investor K-1’s

Maintain the Kolter Investor Portal

  • Actively oversee and manage web-based investor relations portal (Juniper Square) with focus on (i) excellent investor experience and (ii) accurate and well-maintained capital accounts, data rooms, and back-end information
  • Work with the CFO to draft and communicate periodic capital call notices and monthly distributions
  • Serve as primary point of contact, manage relationship and implement needed product changes with Juniper Square vendor as required

Lender Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare Certified Financial Statements for corporate holding companies and prepare debt covenant compliance calculations and certificates
  • Distribute all compliance timely and accurately to each financial institution
  • Maintain reporting requirement schedules (for tracking information flow and deliverables to banks/lenders)
  • Respond to ad hoc bank inquiries and requests
  • Distribute annual tax returns and audited financial statements to banks
  • EB-5 Compliance Reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and highly reliable to successfully manage processes and deliverables on schedule
  • 2-5 years of experience in or knowledge of investor relations, real estate development & investment
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong personal attributes: ethical, self-motivated, multi-tasker, great communicator, organized and detail-oriented, team player, creative, professional appearance and manner
  • SalesForce CRM management software not required but a bonus

EDUCATION:

  • Minimum BA (degree in finance other quantitative discipline preferred). Strongest academics and test scores required with an emphasis on performance in quantitative courses
