Position Overview

Madison is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join its growing Investor Relations team to support the firm’s capital raising and business development efforts.  The position will report to the Vice President of Investor Relations and will maintain a position of increasing responsibility commensurate with experience and performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Preparing and maintaining fund offering materials, such as investor presentations, Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), etc.
  • Responding to investor due diligence questions and other ad-hoc requests for information as well conducting market research and collecting intelligence on GP competitors
  • Tracking and analyzing investor feedback from institutional investors on a global basis by attending investor meetings/calls as well as coordinating with placement agents (if applicable)
  • Performing due diligence and research on prospective investors as well as managing the Firm’s CRM database
  • Managing the due diligence process by maintaining the Firm’s data room and preparing customized pitch materials as needed for prospective and existing clients
  • Working with cross-functional team members from investments, finance, legal and compliance to mitigate gating items and ensure timely closings of LP capital commitments
  • Assisting with the Annual Investor Meeting and other investor-focused presentations, conferences and events

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or real estate finance
  • Proven work ethic and ability to be available as needed in order to meet stringent deadlines for time-sensitive transactions
  • A strong analytical background and business acumen with a deep understanding of investments, finance and accounting
  • Strong business writing skills and ability to articulate complex information in a digestible format for sophisticated investors
  • Ability to forge internal and external working relationships with strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail and drive for accuracy in work product with ability to manage competing priorities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Real estate experience preferred, though not required
