Responsibilities
Summary of Position:
Reporting to the Managing Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Investor Relations, the AVP of FP&A will provide key financial leadership to LMC. This role will be responsible for the analysis of the company financial performance and develop forecasting efforts for future and current endeavors.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed forecasts and financial models for short and long-term operational performance for the executive team.
- Monitor and assess financial metrics and benchmarks.
- Develop financial analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders in developing business plan and quarterly forecasts.
- Research and review data variances for anomalies.
- Evaluate and provides recommendations of organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
- Provide monthly and quarterly financial reporting to key stakeholders.
- Prepare and present detailed reports for the executive leadership team and/or the Board of Directors.
- Support the Quarterly Earnings process including the preparation, schedule, and resources.
- Provide regular updates on stock performance, trading patterns, competitor performance, and investor activity.
- Support in the evaluation and consummation of organic and inorganic (i.e. M&A) growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field required.
- 4-6 years of experience within Financial Planning and Analysis and/or Investment Banking.
- Experience within a publicly traded company.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as financial modeling and analytic skills.
- Influential communication skills and the ability to articulate complex data with all levels of an organization.
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the VP Financial Planning and Analysis to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
