Real Estate Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Perform market research, financial analysis, underwriting and modeling on new financing opportunities
• Real estate loan asset management and servicing
• Broker and Borrower relationship management including site visits
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets for tracking loan performance
• Compile data and assist with quarterly property valuations
• Assist in analysis and presentation of transactions to capital partners
• Engage, compile, and analyze third party reports (e.g., Phase I, Property Condition, Survey, Title) and other general loan due diligence - team members have the opportunity to assume integral roles on projects

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Business, Economics or Finance; with Emphasis or Minor in Real Estate a plus.
• Prior experience in real estate
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
• High level of thoroughness and attention to detail; ability to find solutions to problems without direction, synthesize information, prioritize assignments, and execute tasks on time
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual who works well in a team environment
• Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Excel model building experience
• 3+ years of experience with a real estate asset management firm, a private equity firm, lender, owner/operator, servicer, investment bank, or broker
