Responsibilities:

 

The Analyst will play an active role in the investment process with the opportunity to work directly with Principals and Managing Directors on all aspects of real estate investing, including acquisitions, asset management, dispositions, and investor relations. Primary responsibilities include:

 

  • Supporting senior management with all analytical and transactional aspects of acquiring, asset managing, and selling an investment, including due diligence, market research, financing, closing; and preparing leasing, operating, and capital analyses
  • Completing Excel models related to the financial valuation of real estate acquisitions and participating in Investment Committee meetings
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the financial performance of investments and communicating with operating partners and property managers about the execution of business plans
  • Coordinating with investment and financial control staff to respond to investor inquiries and questionnaires
  • Creating presentations, press releases, investment summaries, and other marketing materials
  • Interfacing with joint-venture partners, lenders, brokerage community, and institutional investors

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 1 – 2 years of prior work experience in a related field (e.g. real estate investing, investment banking, real estate lending, or other finance/accounting related roles)
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Argus is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiples tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Undergraduate degree with minimum GPA of 3.4
