Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Financial analysis, modeling, and creation of detailed proformas for multifamily real estate assets.
- Ensuring attention to detail throughout the process and returning a final draft, free of errors.
- Evaluate and analyze potential acquisition opportunities through in-depth property-level and market research.
- Coordinates with team to accurately estimate repair/rehab costs.
- Prepare investment memorandums and participate in weekly Investment Committee meetings.
- Conduct on-going analysis and reporting on the operational and financial performance of the existing portfolio of assets.
- Monitor performance of existing assets against business plans and annual budgets to identify and analyze variances and trends.
- Perform quarterly valuations of existing assets and assist in the budgeting process.
- Develop new metrics and tools to improve analysis and oversight of existing portfolio.
- Develop strategies to ensure continued growth and profitability through the creation of a long-term value-add purchasing strategy and the promotion of efficiencies within current strategies.
- Travel to properties to conduct tours as needed; may require some out-of-state travel to markets where we are pursuing deals.
- Promote a positive, professional environment that supports enthusiasm, accountability, and teamwork.
- Follow processes and procedures to assure quality, profitable acquisitions.
- Produce and maintain reports for company executives to frequently review analysis, deal prep, and inventory management prior to and after acquisitions.
