The Pitch:

We are a leading, fast-growing Proptech startup in the short-term rental space, and we are seeking an experienced, professional Senior Business Development Executive to help us grow by developing deep and meaningful relationships with large players in our industry and then leveraging those relationships to create an outsized revenue impact. In this role you’ll leverage your industry experience and relationships to create win/win relationships between Rabbu and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify large buyers and sellers of short-term rental assets

  • Identify large portfolios of potential assets for our property management product

  • Create and execute on strategies for building relationships with buyers and sellers of short-term rental assets

  • Create and execute on strategies for winning very large portfolio deals for our property management product

  • Partner with marketing on the creation of assets and collateral that create relationships and win large deals

  • Identify the best monetization strategy for each type deal

  • Working the leadership team, structure and negotiate deals that result in meaningful wins for Rabbu

  • Partner with the rest of the sales team to coordinate the most efficient execution of sales process based on product and deal size

  • Create a feedback with our product and marketing teams that exposes how to communicate better with large prospects and how to deliver better solutions to their problems

  • Track conversation notes, outcomes, etc, so that we can make good evidence based decisions

  • Partner closely with leaders across the organization to clarify our mission with strategic accounts identify internal opportunities

  • Continually test and iterate to refine our processes and tactics

NOTE: This is a commission based contract role.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a fast paced enterprise (large deal) sales environment

  • Demonstrated experience closing large deals, creating strategic partnerships and/or building relationships with value that can be quantified

  • Industry connections and relationships that allow you to hit the ground running

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to tailor messages and speak to various audiences

  • The ability to comfortably talk large numbers and challenge a prospects assumptions while maintaining the role of a trusted advisor

  • A problem solver that deeply understands a prospects problem and communicate effective solutions (sometimes with outside the box thinking)

  • Good time management skills and effective prioritization

  • Outgoing, curious, inquisitive and empathetic

  • A high performer that is self-motivated and goal oriented

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced and ever changing startup environment

  • Comfortable with ambiguity
