TPG Real Estate Finance is seeking Analyst candidates for our real estate finance platform, TRTX. TRTX is a $5.2B publicly traded real estate debt platform (NYSE: TRTX) that originates and invests in commercial real estate mortgages, mezzanine loans, and securities.
Responsibilities
TPG Real Estate Finance has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst to join its team in New York. The Analyst will work on a wide range of financing transactions working directly with senior members of the team.

• Real estate valuation analysis and modeling
• Real estate loan origination (whole loan, mezzanine, preferred) and acquisitions including secondary market transactions and commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS)
• Preparation of presentations and memoranda evaluating investment merits and risks, market dynamics, and projected investment returns
• Credit, legal, market and other diligence
• Transaction execution, including negotiation of loan documentation
• Market research
• Assist with ongoing portfolio management
Requirements
TPG seeks candidates who are interested in real estate, highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in finance or accounting preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively present information and demonstrate good judgement
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Argus, Word, and PowerPoint
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
• Strong desire to build a career in the real estate industry
