Job Description

Calibogue Capital is a real estate private equity firm focused on US investments across a variety of strategies within industrial, multifamily, and net lease assets. The Company is presently deploying its fourth committed and discretionary fund and is seeking an experienced business development professional to source and evaluate opportunities. The opportunity is ideal for someone with a history of cultivating sponsor relationships within particular asset classes or geographies.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and source investable opportunities across the US
• Negotiate operating agreements with real estate sponsors
• Lead the drafting and reviewing of transactional documents such as LOIs and operating agreements
• Coordinate and manage the use of professionals in sourcing, negotiating, closing, and managing investments
• Conduct due diligence on identified acquisitions
• Construct and review credit memos for forthcoming investment decisions 
• Participate in and provide support for the ongoing asset management of each investment

Capabilities:

• Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational capabilities
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Able to effectively interact with both senior management and investments team
• Able to cultivate and manage sponsor relationships through the investment life cycle
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly for business development and project due diligence

Background:

• 5-10 years of real estate acquisition and underwriting experience
• History of cultivating relationships with sponsors, brokers, and other professionals
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency commensurate with 2-3 years of financial services work experience

Compensation:

• Market compensation commensurate with experience level and performance potential
