Position Summary

The Land Acquisition Analyst is responsible for performing activities that support the Investment Group and The Picerne Group’s objectives, performance drivers and strategic initiatives. The Analyst is responsible for gathering, compiling and analyzing information to complete the research and financial analysis of land under consideration for purchase to develop multi-family communities.  The Analyst is also responsible for maintaining a database of land acquisition targets in Picerne’s selected markets, performing market research in targeted cities, and organizing development standards by municipality.  The Analyst will utilize sophisticated analytical software to assemble and organize data into presentation formats will be involved in database management, trends analysis and the preparation of business presentations.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Responsible for organizing land use, zoning and development standards by community
2. Consolidates and synthesizes large amounts of data from various sources; must be able to translate a large group of raw data into succinct presentations/conclusions
3. Diligently collect detailed information on landowners and their related businesses
4. Assist with underwriting, budgeting, and investment committee processes
5. Assist with due diligence process and organization
6. Creates reports and maps in Excel and Powerpoint suitable for presentation to Executives
7. Other duties and special projects as may be assigned
