Acquisition Intern

Job Description

Arete Capital Group is currently seeking to add an additional acquisitions intern to our team. This role will mainly focus on self-storage acquisitions due-diligence.

If you need this internship for class credit, we are willing to work with your University to accommodate. This position does not have a set expiration date to align with the end of a semester. Though that is a possibility, our preference is a Junior/Senior or Graduate student who can growth with the company. This role has the potential to evolve into a full-time position upon graduation.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. – Discretionary bonus tied to deals closed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

-Less than one year of experience

-Must have working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

-Currently in college or graduate school

-Daytime availability (must be able to communicate during working hours of CST and EST)

-Have access to a phone and computer with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

-Underwrite acquisitions (excel templates will be provided)

-Market research

-Create investment pitch decks (templates provided)
