Associate, Real Estate Private Equity Fund

Job Description

We are working with an established NYC- based multi-billion dollar real estate private equity fund that  invests in real estate operating companies, rather than individual or portfolios of properties. The fund also takes GP stakes in real estate investment managers. They would like to add an Associate to their investment team.  Candidates should have two to four years of experience from a top tier investment bank with a focus on Real  Estate/Gaming/Lodging/Leisure, M&A, Leveraged Finance, Consumer, Telecom or Industrials. They will also consider backgrounds that combine investment banking and buy side experience with up to four years of total work experience. This role requires strong corporate finance skills (including the ability to build three statement operating models from scratch), outstanding fundamental analytical skills including LBO/M&A financial modeling proficiency, and the ability to conduct deep due diligence of a private company.  Candidates should have a strong interest in the real estate sector.
