Prestige Properties & Development is looking for a financial analyst to assist in the asset management of its 5 millions square foot portfolio. Based in New York City, Prestige owns and operates retail and office properties across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Florida.

Job Overview:

• Create and maintain property level budgets and quarterly re-forecasts using Kardin Software and Argus Enterprise
• Reconcile Argus and Kardin models against actuals with quarterly and annual variance reports
• Assist in the creation of quarterly and annual lender reports
• Develop a working knowledge of leases, loan documents, and other agreements to assist with general responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of CAM and real estate tax reimbursement billings to tenants and assist in collection
• Develop accounting policies and procedures including evaluation of accounting software and work flow/ project management tools
• Maintain and develop complex financial models for each asset utilizing Microsoft Excel and Argus Enterprise
• Assist in the due diligence of asset acquisitions by abstracting commercial property leases, coordinating pro-rations, and analyzing year-end CAM reconciliations
• Assist in the creation of annual business plans for each asset
• Perform net effective rent and DCF lease analyses to improve asset management decision making 
• Act as an internal auditor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in real estate, accounting, or finance
• 0-3 years of experience in accounting or in a real estate investment firm 
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Kardin, Argus Enterprise
• Understanding of real estate fundamentals
