Associate Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst – Private Real Estate – Downtown Columbus, Ohio

Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) employs a 60-person investment team to manage a $100 billion portfolio of diversified assets across public and private markets. They work diligently to create value to ensure the long-term financial health of the Plan, which benefits over one million Ohioans who have dedicated their careers to public service.  Our Real Estate team seeks to make investments in high-quality private real estate funds and external managers. We are looking for candidates with a background in real estate or investments with excellent creative and analytical thinking skills.

In our Assistant Portfolio Manager role, you will use those skills to assess our current portfolio strategies, help to design and develop new strategies, and choose the best external fund managers to generate long-term growth and returns.

Our Investment Analyst apply strong critical thinking and analytical skills to develop portfolio insights, analyze portfolio construction, and make investment recommendations. This position provides the opportunity to apply a strong analytical background to reviewing investments and performance of many of the top-performing investment managers around the globe.
