Position Overview:
CapRidge Partners is seeking a qualified Real Estate Investment Analyst to join our team in our Austin office. The successful candidate will be a highly organized, detail oriented, critical thinker with the ability to multi-task and thrive in an ever-changing entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Acquisitions and Asset Management team, to monitor and manage existing investments, including interaction with lenders, investor relations, accounting, property management, construction, capital markets advisors, and leasing teams.
- Assist the team in acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management-related functions of all kinds.
- Prepare and deliver high quality work product in an accurate, complete, and timely manner. Analyses will be thorough, well supported, and demonstrate an understanding of the commercial real estate business.
- Perform detailed financial analyses and modeling, including lease analysis, loan analytics, acquisition modeling, asset valuations, and cost/benefit analysis. The ability to create dynamic models in Excel to address complicated investment and capital structures is critical.
- Prepare and maintain asset management reports, as well as the consolidation and review of operating budgets and variance analyses on both property and portfolio levels.
- Conduct market and submarket analyses, reports on rents, competition demographics, and supply/demand drivers. Perform analyses in Argus Enterprise to assist with investment decisions.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly investor reports and the weekly acquisitions pipeline.
- Some travel will be required.
Qualifications:
- Argus Enterprise experience or certification is a must.
- A minimum of one prior commercial real estate internship.
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Demonstrated track record of academic success, extracurricular involvement, and leadership.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, follow-through, and accountability for results.
- Willingness to learn and take on any new task or challenge, while also maintaining the flexibility to balance new assignments and changing priorities.
- Ability to interface with personnel at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
