The company is expanding its Real Estate Development Team to support growth, particularly for its Eastern Region turnkey development (TDP) and developer fee projects. For a mission driven individual with interest and experience in real estate development or real estate financing transactions, the role is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow.
Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator will support the Real Estate Development team's efforts through the complete project lifecycle, from pre-development through property close. The position will be a centralized contact for key departmental activities and act as a liaison between the development and accounting team.
Essential Duties:
Development Pipeline Administration – Maintain the pipeline development report ensuring accuracy and up to date information of all opportunities. Review pre-qualification and application documents, distribute to appropriate internal contacts, maintain organized file structure and follow up with schools as needed.
Project Set Up & Pre-development - Assist in acquiring site due diligence materials and the collection of relevant underwriting materials and real estate closing documents. Complete necessary paperwork for LLC ownership establishment and document management and review periodic entity audits from CT Corp.
General Project Administration – Work with local vendors in relation to the project, issue payments for permits, maintain pre-development budgets; assist in updating all schedules including project reconciliations and draw requests; support contract administration, pay applications, change orders, waivers of lien, and all other associated project paperwork; Liaise with accounting for payments, relevant tax exemptions and project reconciliation.
Transaction Support – Prepare, print documents, and obtain signatures, for project documents as needed. Submit request to establish bank accounts/handoff to accounting, update CRM (Salesforce) with transaction details following closing
Day to day Admin / Office Management – Maintain trackers and reports for the team, assist with expense report submission for VPs.
Qualifications and Essential Skills

Years Experience: 3+ years

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Some travel required, attend meetings as needed

High attention to detail with stellar organization skills

Working Knowledge of Excel and project management software

Knowledge of Salesforce a plus

Previous experience at a bank, lending institution, title company, real estate development company or construction company a plus
Work Environment & Benefits:
The role is full-time, Northeast (Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC area preferred) in a Hybrid/Remote environment.
